I don’t even know where to start with this one — Nicola and Dan’s Baddow Park House wedding was so much fun.

I loved them from the very first moment we met at a Baddow Park open day, and when we caught up ahead of the wedding, I just knew this was going to be one I’d absolutely adore.

They put together such an amazing team — me and Carl on photos, and David from Rideout Films on video. And honestly, the whole day was proof of why it matters to have a photo and video team that work seamlessly together. It makes everything run smoothly and lets the couple just enjoy their day.

Nicola’s colour choices were stunning — rich jewel pinks in the florals and bridesmaid dresses that popped beautifully against the classic Orangery backdrop. After a gorgeous indoor ceremony, they took five minutes out to privately exchange personal vows — something I love and really recommend to every couple. It’s such a grounding, emotional moment in the middle of the day.

Then came the party — tambourines waiting for guests as they entered the wedding breakfast (such a fun idea!) and the most joyful champagne spray later on. Nicola made a last-minute decision to book @mrkamaramusic after seeing them at a bottomless brunch — and honestly, what a call. They were incredible and totally owned the dancefloor.

Everything about this wedding was relaxed, colourful, and full of personality — an absolute dream to photograph from start to finish.
