Some weddings just have an energy to them from the very start, and Vimal and Lucy’s was absolutely one of those.

This was the first part of their wedding celebrations, and honestly, what a way to kick things off. The whole day was built around music and fun, with live entertainment running from start to finish. Daisy Pringle, Matt Pearse on sax, and live music all featured across the day, and the atmosphere it created was just incredible. You could feel it in every room.

The styling was so warm and considered. Burnt orange and terracotta tones running through the florals, the napkins, the chair sashes, all against the gorgeous light of Baddow Park’s reception space. Little Tin Shed Flowers absolutely nailed the brief, especially that floral arch behind the top table.

And then there was Max. Vimal and Lucy’s little dog was without question the VIP of the day, fully dressed to match the wedding party in his own navy and orange outfit, and completely stealing every photo he was in. He came along for portraits too, which made for some of my favourite images of the whole year.

The winter sunshine was just perfect, giving everything that low golden quality that you simply cannot fake. Baddow Park in November with light like that is a gift. As well as the photos, I also captured a mini film on the day, so scroll down to watch it alongside the gallery.
