Braxted Park Wedding | Fern & Stephen

’I’ve titled this blog Fern and Stephen, but in all honestly it should probably be called “Fern, Stephen and Dave” because let’s face it, nothing steals the show like a dog in a flower crown walking down the aisle! Bravo, Dave…bravo! This lovely couple were married at the rather grand Braxted Park. Described on their website as where “Where serenity and sophistication meet in one magnificent venue. Where captivation hides around every corner” this really was a setting and a half. Tree lined driveway, check. Secret gardens, check. Orangery, check. Pavilion, Check. Throw in a stunning couple and you have all the makings of a photographer’s dream.

Fern looked an absolute dream in an off-shoulder dress from Confetti and Lace with shoes and accessories from Harriet Wilde and Sarah Vuong, whilst Stephen and his groomsmen were kitted out by Anthony’s Suit Hire in Billericay. And Dave? He rocked his birthday suit, topped off with the aforementioned flower crown, and very almost stole the show!

These guys had so many lovely touches on their big day…a fabulous flower and prosecco wall, a lit up “Mr and Mrs” (always a fab shout for those evening photos!), photo mirrors, drapes, lanterns and lighting. It all added up to a really lovely aesthetic. I love weddings that truly reflect who a couple are and the things that matter to them, and this was definitely one of them.
