Ooh it’s been a while hasn’t it, sorry about that but despite all my best intentions to keep up with blogging, wedding season has kept me very busy indeed. It has been one hell of a wedding season I have to say. We’ve had some real challenges thrown our way, namely by Mother Nature who decided we needed watering all Summer long. But, spoiler alert the sun does come out eventually and the rain doesn’t actually ruin any of the fun! Anyway, let get on with it shall we, first up – Abbey & Callum!

They had a church ceremony with the celebrations at Baddow Park House, one of my absolute favourite venues and one I’m so proud to be a recommended photographer for. We got ready at Baddow Park using their incredible bridal suite while the boys got ready at their family home. There is something so beautiful about a church ceremony, especially in a church as lovely as theirs with a delightful vicar too who let us get some beautiful ceremony photos for them.

Their incredible colour scheme was brought to life in the beautiful shades of pastel in the flowers by Stock Florist and Abbey carried this right through from her blue shoes, blue bridesmaid dresses and sprinkles of pink rose petals among the confetti which were a beautiful nod to her father. The guests enjoyed a fun filled drinks reception with the addition of mini golf by my favourites Mr Tees Crazy Golf and the background music was provided by Under the Sun – Side note, I can not recommend this band enough. This turned out to be my first of 3 encounters with them for 2024 and each one was as brilliant as the first. Never have I seen a band command a dancefloor quite like them. I’d very much like to see them through 2025 so my future couples take note, if you want a band guaranteed to fill a dancefloor then this is who you need.
