Rachael & Sean | Houchins

I had the pleasure of meeting Rachael & Sean back in 2021 when they booked me as their wedding photographer. Fast forward to their special day, and seeing them exchange vows with their adorable baby Livia by their side was an absolute joy! Their wedding was a true reflection of their tight-knit family, with loved ones traveling from as far as Australia to be part of the celebration.

What made Rachael & Sean’s wedding truly remarkable was their determination to do things their own way. Rachael confidently walked down the aisle, adorned in an exquisitely embroidered dress that perfectly showcased her unique style. Their vows to each other were so emotional, creating an atmosphere filled with such heartfelt sentiment. And who could forget their unforgettable family first dance, accompanied by the super talented saxophonist BeccaSax? It was a beautiful moment that showcased their love and brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

The entire day exuded a relaxed and joyful vibe, emphasising the deep connections between friends and family. Their choice of a family-style BBQ for the meal created a warm and inviting atmosphere, where guests mingled, laughed, and shared stories. The speeches were filled with heartfelt anecdotes, underscoring the love and support that surrounded Rachael & Sean on their special day.

As luck would have it, the clouds parted just in time for us to capture some magical golden hour photos. I want to give a special shout-out to Sean, who gallantly assisted Rachael as we trekked over the farm tracks to get those breathtaking shots. It was a team effort that proved to be absolutely worth it!
