Yiota and Trevor’s wedding was a beautiful blend of her Greek heritage and beloved British wedding customs. The journey began at Blake Hall, an exquisite venue that never fails to impress. The day started with a traditional Greek Stolisma in the charming cottage at Blake Hall. The sounds of the traditional violinist echoed as Yiota was surrounded by her dearest friends and family. The highlight of this ritual was the Zoni, where a vibrant red sash was ceremoniously placed around her waist by her closest friends & family, a moment I really felt honoured to see.

The wedding ceremony took place in the elegant hay barn, adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows that flooded the space with natural light. The forecast did its best to challenge us, but with a touch of patience and a lot of strategic weather app tracking (on my part), we seized the moment when the rain momentarily eased. It was the perfect opportunity to capture the couple in the stunning gardens and grab some of those all important group photos. We even managed to squeeze in a confetti moment outside before the heavens opened!

Their guests were treated to an indulgent three-course meal, followed by heartfelt speeches that brought laughter and tears. The atmosphere was further elevated by the brilliant sounds of the Millenium Greek Band. But the real magic came when one of Yiota’s family members surprised the couple with a serenade, an unexpectedly special moment that left everyone touched.

The evening continued with a captivating first dance that ignited the dance floor. From that point on, it was non-stop dancing and celebration until I bid my farewells. The Greek dancing was particularly captivating, with everyone joining in the festivities and having the time of their lives.
