Pontlands Park Wedding Photographer | Veronica & Angus
When you turn up to shoot a wedding and one of the first things you spot are the most AMAZING hot pink Christian Dior shoes, you just know it’s going to be an awesome day! I mean, just look at those jewelled beauties…if they don’t cry out “this wedding is going to be epic” then I really don’t know what does. And indeed, epic it was… Veronica and Angus were married at St Andrew’s Church in Sandon, followed by a reception at Pontlands Park, a gorgeous Victorian house set in beautifully landscaped gardens. Her beautiful dress was brought over from Poland, a lovely link to her home country (though I’m sure Veronica would agree, not quite as easy as popping to the local bridal store!) That said, totally worth it…look how beautiful she looked, oh, and did I mention the Dior shoes?! Angus and his groomsmen wore suits from Reiss and though they didn’t have any hot pink shoes (yes, yes, I’m obsessed), they looked very dapper nonetheless!
Having travelled from Canada, Veronica’s family were required to quarantine on arrival in the UK, which they were invited to complete with Angus’ family. This meant the two families had an opportunity to get to know each other really well before the big day, and it added to the wonderfully relaxed and fun vibe of their big day. I’m also pretty sure it added to the dance floor vibe, and I’ve got to admit that Veronica’s Dad requesting “get no satisfaction” before pulling out his moves, is definitely going down as one of my wedding highlights!
Honestly, these guys were genuinely just such a lovely couple. Happy go lucky, full of fun, laid back, and so very clearly in love. Everything about their day was a pleasure to capture, and I just know they have the most amazing future ahead of them. Congratulations you two! Thank you so much for inviting me to capture your special day.
