Elise & Dan | Parklands Quendon Hall

Have I got a sizzling summer wedding story to share with you, captured by me Sophie Oldhamstead, an Essex wedding photographer. This one took place at the breathtaking Parklands in Quendon and made for a summer wedding I will never get sick of sharing!

Picture this: an enchanting outdoor ceremony under the scorching summer sun. Blossom trees lining the aisle, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere. But that’s not all – an owl made a surprise appearance, delivering the rings, making it a day filled with delightful twists and turns.

Now, let’s talk about the weather. It was a ridiculously hot day, which meant we had to be strategic with our photos. Most of the shots were cleverly scheduled for later in the day when the sun was a bit kinder. Trust me; no one wants to melt in their wedding attire!

As the day continued to unfold, a lovely meal was served in a charming marquee. Guests enjoyed the melodious tunes of a harpist during the ceremony and reception, adding a touch of elegance to the proceedings. The sounds of the harp made for a truly magical ambiance.

And here’s the cherry on top! Elise, the beautiful bride, had a surprise up her sleeve. She slipped into a stunning Nadine Merabi pink dress for the evening festivities. But the real twist was her mum’s reaction – We’ve got a snapshot of the precise moment, and let’s just say her surprise left her mum genuinely shocked, nothing like a good suprise at a wedding!
