Ellen & Jack’s wedding was one of the most joyful, energetic, and downright fun weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was going to be a celebration full of personality, laughter, and pure love—not just between the couple, but among all their family and friends too.

The Best Groom Reaction. Ever.

Let’s just start with the big one: Jack’s reaction when he saw Ellen walking down the aisle. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s one of the best I’ve ever seen—completely overwhelmed in the best possible way. Their celebrant-led ceremony was full of heartfelt personal touches (and a few happy tears), with a string quartet setting the perfect tone.

After the ceremony, it was straight into drinks, garden games and one seriously competitive round of giant Jenga that had guests cheering so much they pushed back the first dance. That’s how you know you’ve nailed your wedding entertainment!

Jack’s mum created the incredible flowers — one of many personal touches that made this day so special. Ellen’s love of disco balls was woven throughout: from the dancefloor, to the bouquet (yes, a disco ball charm!), and even in tiny details that made everything feel so “them.”

One moment I really loved was when Ellen threw the bouquet—and then threw it again so the boys could have their turn. Absolute gold. Don’t tell me boys don’t love this stuff too cos they really did give it their all!

The evening celebrations

Just when we thought the surprises were done, Jack stepped up to serenade Ellen before their first dance. Yep. Full performance. What a man!

Later, we gathered the bridal party at sunset for a champagne spray photo—a brilliant, high-energy way to get everyone together and make some unforgettable memories. A little sticky, very chaotic, and SO worth it for the photos!

The night ended with their friend embracing the tequila spirit—literally—donning a costume and handing out shots to guests as they hit the dancefloor. Glowsticks everywhere, 00s bangers on full volume, and a packed room of people giving it their all. Honestly? It was epic.
