Rhiannon & Zach | Gaynes Park

Well, it’s been a while guys, but after a long summer of weddings I’m hopping back on the blogging bandwagon and kicking things off with the suitably lovely, Rhiannon and Zach, who got married back in June, at the beautiful Gaynes Park. This was a really elegant and classic wedding, which focussed on including lots of details personal to them. Rhiannon wore a gorgeous gown from Abigail’s Collection, a fab little lace, (slightly) off-the-shoulder number with the most stunning low back, and Zach was suited and booted courtesy of Anthony Formal Wear.

Their floral palette incorporated the powder blue of the bridesmaid’s dresses with gorgeous whites and pastel pinks-a perfect early summer mix, and were provided by Hannah Louise Flowers, who specialise in ‘pretty, romantic deigns, full of texture’. These same colours were also included in their wedding cake, which was topped with foliage and pastel-coloured macaroons and looked almost too good to eat!

When I’m shooting weddings, I always have moments I particularly love, and for these guys, it has to be their ‘first look’. A first look is such a great idea for those that want to ease the nerves of that big reveal, but it also allows a really personal and intimate moment between a couple and it’s one I love capturing for you! We got some beautiful shots in the gardens just before Rhiannon walked down the aisle, and they’re definitely some of my favourites from the day.

Another favourite moment was Zach’s surprise rendition of Michael Buble’s “you’re everything” which he sang to Rhiannon at the drinks reception. Suited, booted and sunnies at the ready, it made for a great photo opportunity, too!

Thanks for having me join your day, guys. I had such fun photographing all of your special moments.
