Johanna & Matt | Greenwoods

Love knows no boundaries, and Johanna and Matt’s wedding at Greenwoods in Stock was a beautiful reminder of that! This Anglo-German wedding was a day to remember, filled with heartwarming moments and delightful surprises.

The day began with a really lovely & personal blessing at a local church, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead. As the ceremony concluded, the couple made their exit, and it was nothing short of epic. Witnessing one of the most incredible confetti exits ever seen, with not only a ton of confetti but ribbon streamers too! From the very beginning, Johanna and Matt had one focus – to have a fun day, their way. And they absolutely succeeded in creating a day filled with laughter, joy, and cherished memories.

One of the highlights of the day was the mid-reception cake cut, a stroke of genius that I think should become much more common! As guests indulged in delicious canapes and explored the sweet and salty bar, live music played outside & guests embraced the very typical British weather! We had all the weathers this day, a bit of a theme for 2023 weddings.

With Johanna hailing from Germany, the wedding embraced elements of her heritage, adding a unique touch to the celebration. During the reception, guests were treated to a traditional performance by Johanna’s family, & traditional games were out on the lawn, immersing everyone in the rich culture of German Weddings.

As the evening progressed, the dancefloor came alive with energy and excitement. From the moment the lights went down, guests danced the night away. The dancefloor only paused briefly for a surprise sparkler line, a magical moment organised by her incredible bridesmaids.

Johanna and Matt’s wedding was a true reflection of their personalities, passions, and the love they share. Their commitment to infusing the day with joy and colour was evident in every aspect, creating a wedding that will stick in my memory for a long time to come.
