Michaela & Danny’s wedding at Maidens Barn was the perfect mix of creativity and relaxed fun. Their outdoor ceremony in the Birch Garden was beautiful, with the barn’s rustic charm as the backdrop.

The reception had so many personal touches. Guests enjoyed live music from Tim’s Wedding Piano, and there was even a live illustrator capturing moments throughout the day. One of the most unique features was their audio guest book inside a phone box — such a fun way to collect memories.

Michaela and her family had DIY’d the flowers, and they were absolutely gorgeous. Later, as the sun set, we headed out for golden hour portraits that captured the soft evening light perfectly.

Maidens Barn is such a versatile Essex venue, and Michaela & Danny’s wedding was a brilliant example of how to make it completely your own. I’m also proud to say I’m a recommended photographer for Maidens Barn too so I can’t wait to be back there more in the future!
