new chapter!
First things first – huge congratulations! I honestly couldn’t be happier for you. It’s the biggest honour to be asked to photograph your next chapter, and I’m so excited to be part of this season of your story too.
Just like your wedding day, my approach to newborn shoots is relaxed, natural, and all about you. We’ll go entirely at your and baby’s pace – no rush, no pressure. Whether we shoot at home, outdoors somewhere you love, or a mix of both, it’s all about keeping things easy and meaningful to you.
It’s those little intimate moments of having a newborn that I think are so important to capture and its why my newborn sessions take place in your own home. Minimal posing, lots of cuddles and a focus on your new family as a whole is what makes my sessions unique and so very special.
Sessions last up to 2 hours, and are fully led by baby so feeding cuddling & rocking continues as normal and I’m just there to photograph it. I have been photographing new families for over 8 years so I will make sure to get all those little details for you while you just love on your baby. All you need to do is just relax & be together.
What to wear?
My number one tip? Whatever you feel comfortable in. Light, neutral tones tend to work beautifully – they help keep the focus on your connection with baby and let those tiny details shine. For baby, simple is best. Think little white vests, soft leggings, or anything that’s easy to change and not too bulky. Layers and textures can photograph beautifully too, as long as they’re soft and fuss-free.

What to prep
The answer here is – not much! If you have time to clear your bed and bedside tables, amazing. If baby has a nursery, an empty cot or chair can be a great spot too. But honestly, please don’t stress. There’s no big tidy-up needed – I’ll work with whatever space we have and find the best light on the day. We can always move things around a little if needed. The focus is on your family, not your house.

Includes travel within 20 miles of CB11, beyond this a mileage charge may apply.
Newborn at home sessions only take place Monday – Friday between 10am & 2pm, if you need another time please let me know what you need before booking in.
