Ram and Dave brought together two completely different cultures and made it feel completely seamless. A Scottish groom in a navy kilt and tartan, an Indian bride in the most breathtaking gold-embroidered lengha and, together, they just worked. The whole day had this beautiful warmth to it that I think came entirely from them.

Blake Hall in November is something else. I say this a lot, but it genuinely does look incredible no matter what time of year you visit, and the autumn colour that day was absolutely off the charts. Fiery reds and oranges everywhere you looked, bright blue skies, and the most gorgeous low winter sunshine that made every single photo feel like it was lit by magic. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better conditions.

Ram and Dave were calm, present, and completely in it together and their guests were amazing too, a gorgeous mix of two families and two cultures coming together to celebrate them. The ceremony in the barn was full of emotion and joy in equal measure, and the confetti moment afterwards surrounded by Blake Hall’s autumn gardens is genuinely one of my favourites I’ve ever photographed.

Everything about this day was rich, beautiful, and full of life, exactly the kind of wedding I feel so lucky to be part of.
